Officers have a lunch meeting with Mrs. Soulian every Tuesday.

Events

Souper Bowl VI has begun, the students are asked to bring in nonperishable food items that will be donated to the food pantry here in Lockport.

Student Council is planning an open-mic night for January, more details coming soon.

Student Council is supporting the LRC's Giving Tree providing scarves, hats, mittens, gloves for students and family member of students in need.

GOALS

Our focus is on involving as many students as possible in our activities.  As a school, we need to support each other and get excited about the accomplishments of our students whether they are in band or sports or on the honor roll.  We hope to reach all students in our school!

General Information about Kelvin Grove's Student Council

The purpose of Student Council is to promote good citizenship, encourage a high standard of scholarship, arouse a spirit of pride within our school, improve leadership qualities and confidence, demonstrate a practical application of democracy, and contribute to the welfare of the school community.

We take these goals seriously and expect our officers and members to dedicate time in order to accomplish these goals.

Expectations for officers and members include:

1.  Must possess the ability to work well with others.

2.  A desire and commitment to be involved with the council sponsored activities.

3.  A desire and commitment to  be involved with the council.

4.  Act as a positive role model in and out of school.

5.  Commitment to follow all school policies and rules.

6.  Take a fair share of responsibilities in organizing and following through with activities.

7.  Display a caring attitude towards ALL, work hard, and keep your grades up.

8.  Represent ALL students.
