Mary Jo Slingerland received her
bachelor's degree from Loyola of Chicago.
In 2003, she received her master's
in administration from Northern Illinois University.
She has taught language arts at
Kelvin Grove for nine years and served as student
advisor/coordinator for the last four.
Mary Jo lives in Lemont with her
husband Richard and three children. Her oldest daughter, Cara,
will graduate from Marquette in 2007 with a double major in
Journalism and English in Secondary Education. Her middle child,
Kate, is attending Drake University in Iowa studying Biochemistry,
Cell and Molecular Biology. Her youngest, Sean, attends high
school.
