Teachers' Domain has tons of media resources from featuring media from NOVA, Frontline, Design Squad, American Experience, and other public broadcasting and content partners are easy to use and correlate to state and national standards. Several have accompanying lesson plans and interactive Flash interactives for student hands-on experiences.

Illinois Learning Standards: Linking Tools for Curriculum Development
Resource tool to help districts and schools compare and align the local curriculum content with the Illinois Learning Standards (ILS). Local goals should compare to State goals, the local outcomes should compare to the State standards (ILS), and the local objectives to the ILS benchmarks.
Illinois Assessment Frameworks
The frameworks clearly define the elements of the Illinois Learning Standards in the areas of reading, mathematics, writing, and science that are considered suitable for the Illinois state tests.

Brooklyn Museum of Art
Celebrating the 175th year of its founding, this venerable, large and wonderful museum, has made it possible to view and learn about its treasures. In the Ancient Middle Eastern Art section, for example, see the Winged Genie alabaster relief from ancient Iraq, circa 883-859 B.C. The museum is one of the largest institutions in the United States and a great place to do research!
