Monitoring the Weather

Dear D91 Families,

We are currently monitoring the National Weather Service forecast and they are predicting a cold front that will be coming through our area early next week. This forecast includes frigid temperatures at the time of arrival for students and staff on Tuesday morning when we return to school.

To be proactive as we monitor the forecast, the district is preparing staff and students as they leave today for the possibility of an eLearning day on Tuesday, January 21st. If we do have an eLearning day, teachers will be communicating with parents about the assignments required to be completed during the eLearning day. Notification will be sent to staff and families on Monday afternoon/evening if we will have an eLearning day.

The safety of our school community will always be a top priority of the district, and decisions to utilize an eLearning day are made with everyone’s safety in mind. A copy of our updated eLearning plan can be found by clicking the eLearning Plan tab above.

On December 30, 2024, Mrs. Torres (8th Grade ELA teacher & Nature Club Sponsor) and family welcomed their baby girl, Onyx, to the world. Onyx was 6 lbs.,15 oz., 20 " long. Mama, papa, and big brother Alecto are thrilled!

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Dubs (KG's 4th Grade Teacher) on the birth of their daughter, Mackenzie Anne! Welcome to the world, Mackenzie!
