Education meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at
7:30 pm in Kelvin Grove's LRC. Dates and times are posted at the
entrance to each school building as well as this web site. Parents and community members are

IL 7 Bridge Repair Work Update
From Lockport Police Department:
"The Illinois Department of Transportation has
notified the Lockport Police Department that the current repair work on
the IL Route 7 Bridge is two weeks behind schedule due to unforeseen
additional patching to the bridge deck. IDOT is working with the
contractor to save time in the next project stage and weather permitting,
will still complete repair work by August 31, 2008."

STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR

P D A T E
Registration
Forms for 2008-2009 went home with students on May 1, 2008.
Parents of returning students are
strongly encouraged to mail their registration forms back with
correct payment ASAP. Based on the low number of registrations
already received, the registration days on August 13 and 14 will
be packed! Don't spend your last few days of summer standing in
line. Fees are 88.50 for Pre K and Kindergarten; 140.50 for Grades
1-8 until August 14th at 2pm.
Parents of NEW students are
strongly encouraged to call or email the school to get a new
student packet mailed out. There are many forms that will need to
be completed and district residency documentation that needs to
turned in to complete your registration. New student registration
appointments are highly recommended.
Any returning family that has had a change of address must provide new
residency documentation at the time of registration. (see
residency requirements in “New Student Requirements”)
There are NO
registrations taken in person during the summer.
Any
returning student not registered by August 14th at 2pm
is required to make a registration appointment and pay an
additional late fee.
There will be NO WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS TAKEN.

Something Back Foundation established the opportunity for selected 8th grade
students from each school in the Lockport school district to receive 4
year full-college scholarships. The students had to meet established
