Part-Time Lunch Custodian at Milne Grove
The lunch custodian will work with the lunch program manager and assistant to maintain a safe and sanitary lunchroom environment beginning August 2022 through May 2023. The number of hours worked per day is flexible; however, the candidate must be available between 10:30am and 1:30pm. Compensation is set at $13 per hour.

Responsibilities include:
- Set up for lunch services in the building gymnasium including lunch tables for students, serving tables for hot lunches
- Cleaning equipment, and milk distribution area
- During the lunch period, attend to any spills on tables or floors. Between lunch periods sanitize tables, sweep floors, and empty garbage bins.
- Check washrooms for cleanliness. Address any areas that require attention to cleanliness
- At the conclusion of lunch, reassemble the space for gym classes including the removal and storage of all tables and milk, disposal of all garbage, and cleaning of gymnasium floor.
- Empty trash from lunch, change trash liners and wash trash cans as required.
- Sweep and mop kitchen, storage and lunch room areas. Dispose of boxes, cans and other waste items according to established procedures.
- Clean restrooms thoroughly.

Health Aide or School Nurse at Milne Grove / Kelvin Grove
Two Health Aide Positions
The Health Aide assesses and evaluates the health status of students and provides communication to students and their families regarding health issues. The position works under the direction of the district RN and assists with maintaining all student health records for the building and promoting healthy practices.
The school nurse provides guidance and direction for the district's health program, assesses and evaluates the health status of students, provides counseling to students and their families regarding health issues, and provides specific recommendations for students with special health needs. The nurse maintains all student health records for the building, completes state compliance forms, keeps parents informed of communicable disease outbreaks, models practices for healthy school environments, and cares for students and staff with injuries or health concerns.
This position serves Milne Grove School 8 hours/day and 180 days per year (all days students are in session). Employment will start August 15, 2022. RN license is required for school nurse position ($26 per hour).
